Stupid Fire!

Well, as you may have heard, there's these big stupid fires in southern California(San Diego County).
Here's what's happening so far: about 7 fires, 0% contained
I might need to evacuate, I don't know...
Well, I hope you all are safe! I love you!!!!!
EDIT: Well everything is getting better, and it's almost completely contained...so there's some good news...
Well, I love you all!!!

My Puppy

Today, my puppy got this weird plant in his eye, so it looked like his eye got chewed up or something, and pus was coming out of his eye. My mom and little sister took him to the vet, they said he's okay, but he's going to have eye surgery tomorrow.
Anyways, my dog is doing a lot better, his eye looks normal now, so, I think the surgery will go well and his eye will be a lot better. :)

UPDATE: My dog had the eye surgery today, he's doing better, they had to stitch his eyelids together though. They'll take off the stitches in 2 weeks.
UPDATE AGAIN: My dog got the stitches off, finally, he's doing waaaay much better now!

Projects

In Humanities class, we’re starting the “Family History Project”. It’s when we have to interview a family member about something historic that they were in. We have to gather information on them, but on the historic event they were in. In order to gather information on our family member, we have to interview them, we have to have a list of questions to ask for the interview, in which our teacher has to approve of. For the information on the historic event, we use some info from the interview, and from the internet.
Then, we’ll make a script, and, using Movie Maker, we’ll put together photographs, music from that time and place, and, make a movie.
I will be interviewing my grandpa on World War II.

In our Science class, we are starting a new project called, “The Encyclopedia of Life”. The object of this project is, we’ll be categorizing represenitives from the “five kingdoms”. We’re starting to do some research on all of the kingdoms.
Because life is continuously expanding, scientists must create more groupings to classify all of the billions of living things.
So, we get into groups (of two people), our partners are always changing, so we can experience different personalities and such and learn to get along and know our classmates better, so, anyways, then we research and take notes from a web quest.
And, I have posted a video, “The Encyclopedia of Life” video, on the Navigator Bar somewhere…. So, please take a look at it!

The current book we are reading in humanities is called So Far From The Bamboo Grove by Yoko Kawashima Watkins.
It is the semi-autobiography of a young girl, Yoko, a Japanese girl living in Nanam, Korea with her sister, Ko, brother, Hideyo, and her mother and father.
When World War II occurs, she has to escape from the Koreans, who want to regain control of their nation from the Japanese.
I recommend you to read it if you haven't, it's a really good story.

My Favorite Book Is...

My favorite book is…
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
This is a very suspenseful, dark, romantic, horror book.
It’s about seventeen year old Isabella “Bella” Swan who moves to Forks, Washington and endangers her life when she falls in love with Edward Cullen.
What happens throughout this book, you’re going to have to read and find out, because I don’t want to spoil this book for you.
There are also sequels to this book, New Moon and Eclipse, which have already been released, and Breaking Dawn, which is to be released in fall of 2008. There is also another book, Midnight Sun, the publication date is unknown, but it is told in Edward’s perspective of the events in Twilight.
And, there is going to be a movie based on the book, I can't wait to see it! :)
Anyways, I highly suggest you read the book if you haven’t! I personally recommend it Ages 11(or 12 or 13) and up, due to well, violence, the dark fantasy of it, blood, but it's not like there's A LOT, but it's sort of there so... Well, you should still read it anyways, seriously, it's a good book!
